This slow-action device is compatible with 320V AC/250V DC and contains one set of NO and one set of NC contacts (with early break/late make contact). The IP66-rated explosion proof position switch is protected by a static resistant plastic alloy housing. The HLSW-AE.EX-LS-H3-1-C7 is an explosion proof limit switch for industrial machinery in flammable environments. This slow-action unit features a horizontal thermoplastic roller or vertical push rod operator. The device is rated for 320V AC, 50/60Hz and 250V DC with a maximum current rating of 10 amps. Short circuit protection is set at 16 amps/500V. This explosion proof limit switch is constructed of static resistant plastic alloy to reduce the creation of sparks. The IP66-rated device is suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated work sites with operating temperatures ranging between -20°C and 40°C. The explosion proof position switch contains one set of normally open and one set of normally closed contacts with early break/late make contact. An early make contact has the operator rigged so the NO contacts will close BEFORE the NC contacts open or the normal NO contacts close. A late break contact has the operator rigged so the NC contacts won't open until AFTER the NO contacts have closed and normal NC contacts are opened. Wiring: This flameproof position switch is equipped with four terminals (0.5-1.5mm). Cable entry is facilitated by one M20 x 1.5 molded plastic hub. Maximum outer cable diameter range for the hub is 5.5mm to 13mm. Mounting: The HLSW-AE.EX-LS-H3-1-C7 is compatible with panel mounting applications. This unit can be mounted in enclosures with 360° slots and can be adjusted every 15°. Applications: Petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing buildings, agricultural operations, grain storage centers, industrial equipment and more. |
