This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics IND-MD-SC-UVC-4X-220V-10C is a UV Shoe Sanitizer which encases UV-C lamps. UV-C light kills 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores. This unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm) and comes equipped with four 12" UVC fluorescent lamps. The IND-MD-SC-UVC-4X-220V-10C is equipped with a display that shows the time necessary for the sanitation process to be complete as well as a motion sensor to detect a user stepping onto the unit. The UV shield protects users from potentially harmful UV exposure. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores, and bacteria. * The IND-MD-SC-UVC-4X-220V-10C is a powerful sanitation solution for shoes, boots, sandals, and other footwear. Equipped with four, 12" 10-watt UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers UV output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). UV-C light eliminates 99% of bacteria and viruses. The entire process only takes 10 seconds. The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern with 180 degrees of coverage. The housing of the IND-MD-SC-UVC-4X-220V-10C is constructed of stainless steel. Operation: The UV-C lamps quickly sanitize shoes, boots, and other footwear without needing to touch any surfaces that may be contaminated. A motion sensor turns the unit on only when a person is standing on it for use. The person simply lines up their footwear in the proper location, waits 10 seconds until the display says the process is finished, and steps off the platform. A UV shield is mounted on the unit to protect users from potentially harmful UV light.

Plug options include standard NEMA 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug, standard NEMA 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug, NEMA L6-20 20 amp twist lock plug, British BS1363 (Type G plug) 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug (Type F, CEE 7/4 plug) with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V, or a BS546 (Type M, CEE 3-pin 15 amp rated plug for Indian and South African outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. Mount: The IND-MD-SC-UVC-4X-220V-10C has a flat base for standalone applications. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation. Please see user manual for additional safety information. *We offer models that utilize far-UVC 222 nm light instead of traditional 254 nm UVC light. The UV light released by far-UV 222 nm lamps is considered to be eye and skin safe for humans. The 222 nm UV band cannot penetrate the stratum corneum (outer layer, primary barrier) of the skin. This specific UV wavelength also cannot penetrate the thick barrier protecting the cornea. These features allow models that use far-UVC 222 nm light to be recommended for safe deployment in occupied areas, busy sites, public locations and more. Suggested Applications: Sanitation, disinfection, retail spaces, lobbies, commercial locations, industrial parks, schools, public transportation hubs, airports, office buildings, and more.
