The IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-LF-120V-25C from Larson Electronics is a Stainless Steel Barrier UV-C Fixture that projects a concentrated beam of germicidal UV-C light onto a heavy-duty divider for sanitizing the air of general areas, sites and spaces. This brief exposure offers an additional layer of germ killing safety for people in the facility. This hospital grade stainless steel germicidal fixture features a 20 watt UV bulb that produces 7.55 watts of UV output at a wavelength of 254nm. The IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-LF-120V-25C operates on 120V AC and comes with a 25' cord.

The IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-LF-120V-25C is a powerful sanitation solution for clinics, hospitals, operating rooms, and labs. Equipped with a 20 watt UVC fluorescent lamp, this system offers 7.55 total watts of UV output at a wavelength of 254nm. The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. The IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-LF-120V-25C does NOT have a motion sensor. Instead, it remains on continuously. This barrier germicidal fixture provides 170 microwatts per square centimeter at three feet below the fixture and 30 microwatts per square centimeter at floor level from a height of seven feet.
Operation:
This high output UV barrier germicidal fixture projects ultraviolet rays onto a stainless steel divider. Bacteria and viruses present in the air that passes through the UV rays produced by the fixture are destroyed. Louvers control the beam width and depth which allows it to be adjusted to create a balanced germicidal barrier from the fixture to the floor.
Construction:
The enclosure of the IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-LF-120V-25C is built from hospital grade 304 stainless steel.

Wiring/Plug:
This unit is equipped with 25 feet of cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground or NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Stainless Steel Divider:
The UV disinfection fixture is mounted on top of a stainless steel divider, which measures 6.5' tall by 24" wide. The top, 3' portion of the divider is covered, with the bottom open for seamless access. The base contains removable legs for compact storage or shipping. The legs can be equipped with mounting lugs for anchoring to concrete.
Compared to polycarbonate alternatives, this metallic divider is long lasting and non-porous which deters accumulation of bacteria, mold, stains and debris. Custom sizes and mounting features, as well as bolt-on solutions are available at an additional cost. We can also include lights with the divider for illuminating the segregated or surrounding area.
Note on Environment
: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
