| The LEDB-9-PMK-1227 from Larson Electronics is a Pipe Mount LED Warning Light that is ideal for industrial signaling and warning applications. The LEDB-9-PMK-1227 is available in two lighting configurations. One that can produce a brilliant strobe pattern or one that allows the light be used as a steady burn unit. This LED warning light features a 4.8 watt LED, operates on 120-240V AC and is available in several different colors. This pipe mount LED warning light provides 360° coverage. The LEDB-9-PMK-1227 pipe mount LED warning light is engineered for maximum light output, color clarity and moisture resistance. This LED warning light is spun welded to the base, is available in amber, blue, red, green or white light colors and is equipped with either a male or female pipe mount. This NEMA 4X rated LED warning light measures 2.5" high with a 3" diameter, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and has a Lexan lens that allows for high light output and 360° of coverage. The LEDB-9-PMK-1227 is available to operators in two different lighting configurations; steady burn or strobe. These options allows this light to fit the specific needs of each operator and the intended application of the light. The strobe version of this light produces 75 flashes per minute. Each flash consists of 7 rapid bursts of light. The steady burn version simply produces a bright source of light in the chosen light color. Both versions of the LEDB-9-PMK-1227 are available in the following colors: amber, blue, red, green or white. Please make your lighting configuration and color choices below when ordering. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
