The Larson Electronics LEDLB-12E-IR-M-1227 LED Light Bar offers high light output and extreme durability combined with a versatile magnetic trunnion mounting system that provides convenience and 270 degrees of adjustability. This IP68 rated infrared LED light bar is waterproof to three meters and produces a 3,600mW infrared light beam that can only be seen through the use of night vision goggles. 850Nm versions have a very slight red glow around the LED emitters when viewed from a certain angle while 940Nm versions are completely invisible to the naked eye. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 Volts DC and provides an extremely rugged infrared lighting solution that is ideal for use in commercial and industrial security applications as well as military environments.
The LEDLB-12E-IR-M-1227 LED infrared light bar from Larson Electronics produces 3,600mW and a 550` long by 70` wide infrared light beam. Twelve Edixeon® three watt Infrared Emitters LED`s producing 300mW each are paired with high purity 10° degree optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam with limited spread or light spillage. We also offer optional floodlight versions with 35° degree optics to produce a wider beam spread and more light over a larger area nearer the fixture. These infrared LED light bars are IP68 rated and waterproof to three meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications.
The entire Larson Electronics LEDLB-E series are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature heavier housings, rubber isolated mounts and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability against vibrations, impacts, waves, hard rains, sand and high winds. This light is equipped with 2-100lbs grip magnetic mount bases and 16 foot coil cord ending in a cigarette plug connector. This magnetic base allows fast and easy setup of this light on vehicles and equipment and will hold the fixture in place at speeds up to 65mph provided the mount is properly affixed and secure.

Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated Edison Edixeon® Emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life of 50,000 hours.
Voltage Control: These units are able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LEDLB series light bars can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and standalone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical.
This LED light emitter bar light is designed to run on any voltage ranging from 9 Volts to 42 Volts. However, with our new integrated inline transformer design the fixture can now be operated with common 110 VAC power found in standard wall outlets. Essentially, this means the operator can use this LED light bar anywhere a wall plug in is available or, by disconnecting the step down transformer, he/she can power this LED light emitter bar from any vehicle, equipment, ATV or boat electrical system. You do not need to anything special to operate these light bars in their multi-voltage 9-42 Volt configuration. They will sense the incoming voltage and adapt accordingly.
This unit is shipped with 6`of additional SOOW cord, for a combined total length of 11` from the converter to the fixture. In this particular light, a step down transformer converts the original 120-277 Volt current into 12 volts to accommodate the fixture. If operator decides he/she would like to run off 9 - 42 VDC, all he/she has to do is disconnect from said transformer.
Durability: The LEDLB-E series of LED light bars from Larson Electronics offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. The LED lights with the ‘E’ part number designation are designed for extreme durability and are larger and heavier than the standard LEDLB series lights and are nearly twice as heavy as their standard counterparts. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° degrees Celsius to 85° degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from thick extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edixeon® LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations contributing to these units 15.6Grms rating of vibration tolerance. We recommend these LED lights for high stress - high vibratory conditions, high humidity climates, very cold areas and rough saltwater conditions. They are also well suited to environments where equipment is used in one temperature extreme and stored in another temperature extreme.
Adjustable Magnetic Mounting: The dual 100 lbs magnets and trunnion mounting design on the LEDLB-12E-IR-M-1227 allows for easy fixture placement and post-placement angle positioning. This means that by loosening 2 thumb bolts located on either side of the light, the operator can adjust the positioning angle of this light 270 degrees. Then he/she would simply have to tighten thumb bolts to lock the angle in place. No tools are required for adjusting angle. This mounting system makes this unit ideal for vehicle and equipment lighting applications where the unit can simply be attached or removed as needed. Please note, the magnetic base on this unit increases the units overall height.
Note: Most Larson Electronics LEDLB, LEDP3W, LEDP10W, and LED10W series LED spotlights and floodlights are terminated with a Deutsch IPD / LADD DT04-2P connector. The mating connector plug is DT06-2S. Most LEDLB and LED10W series lights ship with mating connector as part of a harness or pigtail, depending on the model. Some larger LED lights like the LEDLB-160X2 or LEDLB-200X2 or multiple function LED lights (i.e. high/low beam, modulating, IR/Visible combos) will have different Deutsch connectors.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).

Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.

Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
How to Return For all returns, you can email us at sales@purilite.ca. You will need the invoice number in the subject line of the email. You can use one of your preferred carriers. Please note that for freight collect shipments, you are responsible for order tracking once the freight is loaded onto the truck. In addition, PuriLite Industrial cannot assist you with filing damage claims with your carrier.
All returns must be authorized by PuriLite. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from PuriLite Customer Service Department, and the client must provide the Invoice number at the time of the request. The following conditions must be met. Failure to do so could result in refusal of a shipment by us.
At the time of the return, goods must be a stock item with PuriLite and the returned quantity must correspond to the quantity of the original packaging
Approval and shipping destination must be obtained from PuriLite before returning goods;
Goods must be returned to the appropriate location within 10 working days after receiving the return authorization number;
The return authorization number and invoice number must be identified on the return address label;
Goods must be in their original packaging, arrive undamaged and in resalable form
All returns are to be sent prepaid;
Specially ordered goods are non returnable – these products are identified with a part number beginning with a // on quotes and invoices.
Goods damaged in transit must be signed as damaged by the receiver and carrier at the time of receipt of goods in order to request credit from PuriLite.
PuriLite reserves the right to deny any Returns or Claims if the above conditions are not met.
Orders for products affected by x-factor events such as viral outbreaks and other extreme circumstances CANNOT be returned once shipped and billed.
