Buy American Compliant The LEDLB-8ET-IR-STRB-AT-1227 from Larson Electronics is a Strobing Infrared LED Light Bar w/ Adjustable that offers high light output and extreme durability combined a versatile trunnion mounting system that allows mounting to walls and provides 270 degrees of adjustability. This IP68 rated strobing LED light bar is waterproof to three meters and produces 1,440 lumens while drawing only 24 watts of power @ 0.2 amps from a 120 volt AC electrical system. This LED strobe light produces an infrared light beam in the 850 nanometer (NM) range. The 850Nm versions have a very slight red glow around the LED emitters when veiwed from a certain angle while higher NM units cannot be viewed with the human eye. The LEDLB-8ET-IR-STRB-AT-1227 operates on 120-277V AC that is stepped down via an inline transformer to the 9-42V DC that is required to operate the light itself. This infrared strobe light is controlled by dip switches and features an adjustable timer while providing an extremely rugged lighting solution that is ideal for use in commercial marine environments as well as industrial applications such as machine vision system lighting, heavy equipment illumination, blasting lighting and mining operations. The LEDLB-8ET-IR-STRB-AT-1227 infrared strobe LED light bar from Larson Electronics produces light in the infrared 850Nm standard, which is what is recommended for medical use. Eight Edison Edixeon® 3 watt infrared LEDs producing 180 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity 10 degree optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam 375` long by 70` wide with limited spread or light spillage. We offer optional floodlight versions of this light that have 35 degree optics to produce a wider beam spread and more light over a larger area nearer the fixture. These LED light bars are IP67 rated and waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. The entire Larson Electronics LEDLB-E series are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature heavier housings, rubber isolated mounts and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability. This light is equipped with a trunnion handle which allows user to hold the unit up to desired areas as well as positioning the light at various angles. Durability: The LEDLB-E series of LED light bars from Larson Electronics offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. The LED lights with the `E` part number designation are designed for extreme durability and are larger and nearly twice as heavy as their standard counterparts. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from thick extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edixeon® LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations contributing to these units 15.6Grms rating of vibration tolerance. We recommend these LED lights for high stress - high vibratory conditions, high humidity climates, very cold areas and rough saltwater conditions. They are also well suited to environments where equipment is used in one temperature extreme and stored in another temperature extreme. Dip Switch Control: The LEDLB-8ET-IR-STRB-AT-1227 LED strobe light bar with adjustable timer is controlled via dip switches that allow the operator to adjust the frequency of the strobe rate from 0.1 Hz to 102.3 Hz. The switches can be combined to create new frequencies. For example, if the two switches labled 0.1 and 0.2 in the picture shown below are both switched to the "on" position, the resulting frequency would be 0.3 Hz.
Adjustable Mounting: The trunnion mounting design on the LEDLB-8ET allows for post-installation angle positioning. This means that by loosening 2 thumb bolts located on either side of the light, the operator can adjust the positioning angle of this light 270 degrees. Then he/she would simply have to tighten thumb bolts to lock the angle in place. No tools are required for adjusting angle. We also offer a BC-2 bar clamp mounting system for even greater mounting versatility. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
