| This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics LM-16-FM-6X1500W-EW-TLR trailer mounted stationary light mast with provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy the six 1500 watt metal halide lamps to elevations up to sixteen feet. This light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, electric winch operation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 14` single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this mini light plant from location to location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping two stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics’ is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy the equipped 1500 watt metal halide light fixtures in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 16` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 16` above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 10` for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 8.5` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and an upper section 8.5` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has 1` foot of overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 1,200lb rated 120 volt electric winch with 3/16" galvanized steel cable. Included with this light tower are six of our wet area suitable metal halide fixtures producing approximately 150,000 lumens each, for a combined total of 900,000 lumens at 9,000 watts. These lamps have 19†reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 10 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. | ||||||||||||

A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform equipped metal halide lamps. Each lamp can be independently adjusted for precise aiming and light distribution. This mast can be rotated a full 360° articulation. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand.ÂÂ
The electric winch on this mast is offered in 120V or 240V AC 50/60 HZ. Additional voltage options are available at an additional charge. Larson Electronics can offer single phase and three phase AC winches, or low voltage DC winches.
The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This light mast is mounted to a 14` by 6`, single axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,500 lbs leaf springs and 15" trailer tires. The trailer can support and haul an additional 2,000 lbs of equipment. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing.
The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lbs hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 9`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised.
