| Made in the USA The LM-18-7-4S-FM-MODIDC-M4 from Larson Electronics is a 4-Stage Light Mast with Cord Reel Mounting Plate that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to eighteen feet. This light tower features a cord reel mounting plate and a T-head component at the top of the pole. The heavy-duty mast comes with a wide foundational base at the bottom of the pole for support. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping four stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 18` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 18` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base stage 5.38` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, second stage 5.70` and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, third stage 6.01` and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and a top stage 6.43` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 2` minimum overlap. The mast is elevated by pressing down on the end of base stage, elevating the mast into the upright position. The mast is extended to its full height using an included short handle 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. The short handle contributes to this mast`s low profile while also requiring a smaller amount of clearance to raise or lower the mast. Mast Features: The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 7`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The LM series of towers are also powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics or galvanized for superior corrosion resistance. The LM-18-7-4S-FM-MODIDC-M4 also features a cord reel mounting plate. The mounting plate measures 12" x 9" and is located at the base stage of the light mast above the winch. This component is also powder coated in glossy blue to match the mast. This light tower weighs approximately 250 lbs and can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 8` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 375 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winch included standard or optional electric winch for an additional cost. T-Head Mounting Plate: A 21.4" x 5.98" x 18.1" T-head mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The design of this mounting plate allows operators to safely and securely mount their own lights, antennas, cameras and other equipment such as bulky fans or heaters in their desired configuration. The "wings" on this mounting plate are braced on the ends which allows for more mounting configuration options as well as the mounting of heavier or bulkier equipment. This mounting plate design can even accommodate downward facing lighting equipment which other light masts cannot support. The design of this mounting plate along with the bracing on the ends also allows for even weight distribution. Mounting: The LM-18-7-4S-FM-MODIDC-M4 is offered with a wide base at the bottom of the mast for robust support. This feature utilizes a wide foundational base at the bottom of the pole with two bolts at every corner (total of 8). A total of four vertical right-angle plates, located at every side of the square pole, provides additional support for the foundational base, ensuring it does not warp or bend. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
