Made in the USA The LM-30-3S-ATM-EW-24V-TLR-2XJB from Larson Electronics is a Portable Communication Tower that is a cell on wheels which provides a quick way for operators to deploy equipment for mobile communication operations. This unit features a heavy-duty mast that can be elevated to 30 feet and an antenna mount pole (located at the top of the tower). The entire assembly is mounted onto a 14' single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this unit (folded over) from location to location. This communication tower is raised it its full height with an included 24 V DC electric winch and also includes two job boxes that allow operators to store their equipment. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-30-3S-ATM-EW-24V-TLR-2XJB is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy mobile communication systems in temporary locations and remote sites. The tower can be extended to 30' above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 12' for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 12' in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle section 9.5' in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 8.5' in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has 1' foot of overlap. This cell on wheels comes with an antenna mount pole (OD 2") at the top of the tower. Operators may use the trailer to store communication devices and other supporting equipment, such as cables, electronics, amplifiers, monitoring systems, cameras, handheld tools, lights and more.

The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This portable communication tower is mounted to a 14' by 6', single axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,500 lb axle and leaf springs with 15" trailer tires. The trailer can support and haul an additional 3,500 lb of equipment. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 4-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lb hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2' out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 12', the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised.

This portable communication tower assembly weighs approximately 1,200 lb and can easily support/lift 150 lb fixtures and other types of equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier or flatbed. Larson Electronics can customize these units according to customer requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-40-4S is another model that reaches to a length of 40', with base section 11.25' in length, lower section 11.25' in length, an upper section 11.25' in length, and a top section 11.75' in length. Larson Electronics can custom build these towers to meet your overall and collapsed height requirements. Winch Type: This portable communication tower is equipped with electric winches. One winch is used to lift the tower into an upright position and the second is used to raise the tower to the desired height. These winches operate on 24 V DC current. Job Boxes: The LM-30-3S-ATM-EW-24V-TLR-2XJB also includes a pair of job boxes for storing equipment when it is not in use. These job boxes each measure 42"L x 17"W x 20"D. We also offer a choice of finishing and equipped light heads. Powder coating color can be customized (the standard mast is gloss blue). Tower location on the trailer bed can be tongue mounted, front of the trailer bed, or center of the trailer bed. These towers can be fitted with Larson Electronics line of high output light heads, or customize the mast head to meet the mounting requirements for your equipment.
