| Made in the USA The LM-30-8.75-5S-THM from Larson Electronics is a Trailer Hitch Mount 5-Stage Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras, and other equipment to elevations of up to thirty feet by utilizing a vehicle's trailer hitch mount. This light tower collapses for easy transportation in a truck bed or other large vehicle and features a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping 5-stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30 feet for effective coverage. The trailer hitch mount design and pair of 1,000 lb adjustable outriggers allow for operators to deploy lighting and equipment in remote locations and anywhere a truck or vehicle with a trailer hitch can be driven. This light boom can be extended to 30' for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8.75' for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 8.75' in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 6.78' in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 6.93' in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 7.08' in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and top section 7.58' in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1'+ overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 2,500 lb hand winch with 3/16" galvenized steel cable. The LM-30-8.75-5S-THM is available with the following durable finish options: powder coated - glossy blue, powder coated - black, or galvanized. Please make your selection when ordering. These light masts are mounted to standard trailer hitch mounts found on a variety of vehicles. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for mounted light fixtures and equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. This light tower weighs approximately 360 lb and can easily support and lift 150 lb fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier with a total shipping weight of approximately 480 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer's requirements with longer sections and different sized trailer hitches. We also offer a choice of electric 2,500 lb winch instead of the 2,500 lb manual winch. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
