| Made in the USA The LM-55-5S Light Tower from Larson Electronics is a 55 foot extendable light tower that can be equipped with high output LED, HID, Halogen, or Metal Halide light fixtures. This tower includeds a rotating base which allows the operators to aim the lights in any direction regardless of tower location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* Larson Electronics’ LM-55-5S telescoping steel light tower allows operators to quickly and safely deploy illumination in locations where elevated illumination is needed for maximum area coverage. This five section light boom can be extended to 55 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 16 feet and folded over for transport or when not in use. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with five sections of 13 feet, 12 feet, 11 feet, 10 feet, and 9 feet. The mast is elevated from the fold down position using an included 1,000 lb hand winch with 3/16 inch aircraft cable, and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. A rotating mounting platform allows operators to rotate the entire tower on its base, providing an easy means of directing the lights regardless of tower location. | |||||||||

| These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, 1/2 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. This base-plate mount also includes a rotating axis which allows the entire tower to be rotated in both the folded down position and upright position. This light tower when lowered to 16 feet can withstand winds up to 125 mph. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
