This telescoping three stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy 9000 watts of metal halide lighting power in locations where they must be elevated to heights up to 60` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 60` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 25` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base stage 21.52` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle stage 21.63` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper stage 22.04` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1` overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs hand winch. The mast head on the LM-60-3S-FM-9X1000W-MH measures 9` long and 2.5" by 2.5" by 1/8" thick.
Light Head Information: The LM-60-3S-FM-9X1000W-MH 3-stage metal halide light tower is equipped with nine of the Larson Electronics 1000W metal halide light fixtures. These metal halide fixtures produce exceptional illumination using a 19" aluminum reflector housing that spreads a powerful flood pattern of high quality light over large areas. This fixture is equipped with a 1000 watt metal halide lamp which produces the intense illumination and good color rendering normally associated with these lamps. The metal halide lamp is secured within a separate die cast housing for strength and durability while a clear tempered glass lens provides protection for the lamp. U.L. wet area certification and the high power flood beam produced by this lamp makes it ideal for applications requiring illumination of large scale areas that may be subject to wet conditions.

The 19" reflector on this lamp is constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is hinged onto the reflector and secured into place with a four point latching system. The lamp socket is die cast aluminum and separate from the reflector for added durability. The reflector and lamp socket assembly are secured together as one unit which makes installation simple and straightforward. Vertical and horizontal aiming guides are included in this lamps design which makes aiming this lamp during operation easier and safer, protecting users from the potential burns associated with handling operating metal halide lamp fixtures. A stainless steel hinge provides durable adjustability and corrosion resistance.

The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 47.5" by 30" by 1/4" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept eight 9/16" anchor bolts. A 9` wide and 2.5" by 2.5" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment.
This light tower weighs approximately 700 lbs and can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and any other large area that requires ample lighting.

Refund Policy
Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
