Made in the USA The LM.EP-25-3S-FM-ALU-AEB-12.12.8-BP-2X0.75NS from Larson Electronics is a fixed mount 3-stage non-sparking aluminum light mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to twenty-five feet in combustible locations. This light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, an explosion proof junction box and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. This telescoping three stage explosion proof light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in hazardous locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 25` for effective coverage. This explosion proof light boom can be extended to 25` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 14` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. This lightweight tower is constructed of non-sparking aluminum (with stainless steel and galvanized hardware) with a lower section 12` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle section 11` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 10` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1` overlap. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16" galvanized cable.

The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics (this model takes on an anodized finish in blue or black). These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15" by 13" by 1/4" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 9/16" anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 14`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This explosion proof light tower can easily support and lift 100 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 1400 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lb hand winch included standard or optional electric winch. Explosion Proof Junction Box: The explosion proof enclosure is made of copper-free aluminum and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 12" in length by 12" in width by 8" in height. This unit caters to a maximum of 16 operators on the lid (4 rows of 4 = 16) and a maximum conduit size of 5". Operators may access one, 3/4" NPT hub at the north side and one, 3/4" NPT hub at the south side of the unit. Operators may access an aluminum back plate inside the enclosure for mounting customer-provided equipment. Equipped with a bolted cover, the grey explosion proof enclosure is compatible with surface-mount applications. The NEMA 4X rating makes the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as ensures protection from water, dust, moisture, dirt and external ice formation. The explosion proof light tower is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups B,C,D); Class I, Zones 1 & 2 (Groups IIB+H2,IIA); Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups E,F,G) and Class III rated combustible sites. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting in hazardous locations and explosive facilities, construction sites, and security camera deployment. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the , , or .
