The Larson Electronics LM-RD-AL-2M-1M-3S-FM-EW-240V Three-stage Light Mast with Electric Winch Operation provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to 6.5 feet (2 meters). This round light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and two electric winches that operate on 240V AC, 60Hz. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping three stage aluminum light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) for effective coverage. This fixed light boom can be extended to 6.5 feet (2 meters) for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 3.2 feet (1 meter) for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of round aluminum tubing with a 6" OD lower section, 5" OD middle section and 4" OD top section. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs electric winch with 3/16" cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs electric winch. The electric winch operates on 240V AC, 60Hz. The LM series of towers is powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 14" x 14" mounting base plate which has been drilled to accept eight anchor bolts.
Mast Hand Control
The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 3.2 feet (1 meter), the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand.  This light tower weighs approximately 400 lbs and can easily support and lift 100 lbs fixtures or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 1075 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
