The Larson Electronics MGL-115V-1.5KVA-230V-2X16A-25C Mobile Power Transformer System steps down single phase 230V AC electrical current to single phase 115V AC using a Class I, Division 2 transformer. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into 230V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable spiderbox is suitable for outdoor applications. The MGL-115V-1.5KVA-230V-2X16A-25C also features a kick stand located on the back of the dolly cart for added stability and to prevent the system from being at risk of being knocked over or falling down.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use
The MGL-115V-1.5KVA-230V-2X16A-25C portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 115 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect single phase 230 volt line-in power via 25 feet of SOOW cord with an ATEX-rated cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to two 130V ATEX-rated receptacles for 115V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers.
Operation: A 25-foot SOOW cord with a 16-amp 250V ATEX-rated cord cap brings 230V single phase power to the NEMA 3R 1.5 KVA Class I, Division 2 transformer, which converts 230V to 115V single phase and passes the current to the secondary side of the system. The secondary side contains two 16-amp 130V ATEX-rated receptacles.
