| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics RCL500-SS-HW Remote Control Search Light is suitable for directional illumination in marine and outdoor locations. Operating on 12V DC, the halogen lamp emits 100,000 candlepower of white light. A separate remote control panel is available for selection of directional movement, variable speed and beam (spot or flood). The RCL500-SS-HW is a compact searchlight for marine and outdoor environments. This low voltage luminary operates on 12V DC and provides 100,000 candlepower of illumination when in use. Internal reflectors surrounding the filament bulb enhances the light beam during operation. Operators can switch between spot and flood beam angles seamlessly, via the remote control panel. This component also controls directional movement and speed of the light head. The searchlight is constructed of stainless steel with brass hardware and a zinc base. Designed for marine and offshore applications, the unit features robust drive protection against overload issues. Operators can control the position and movement of the light head electronically, through the remote control panel, or manually, by hand. Manual light head adjustment does not damage the searchlight. Control Panel: This powerful searchlight comes with a control panel for remote operation. Three switches allow operators to position the light head without tools or manual tampering. A directional switch moves the light head up, down, left or right. The second (flip) switch is available for toggling between spot and flood beam angles. The third (rotary) switch controls the speed of movement. Mounting: The RCL500-SS-HW offers seamless mounting on compatible surfaces. The light head zinc base, which measures 5", contains three 3/16" mounting holes for #8 flathead screws. Additional holes must be drilled for wiring cables. The remote control panel can be mounted in a different location and supports flush mounting configurations. Applications: Marine, offshore, boating, inspections, general illumination, patrolling, docks, shipyards and more. |
