The RWL-LED-30 70W LED Roadway Light is designed to provide a more durable and efficient alternative to standard HID cobra style street lights and provides 7,000 lumens of clean white light output. The performance of this light is comparable to 150W HPS roadway luminaires, yet this light produces light with better color quality and has higher durability and reliabilty. It`s ideal applications include municipal streets and public roadways, residential areas, campuses, military bases, industrial parks, hotels and resorts, and recreation centers.
The rugged die cast aluminum housing on this advanced LED street light provides superior thermal management to effectively cool internal electronics and LED`s. This coupled with the durable polyester powder coat paint insures corrosion resistance and product longevity. Light weight and lineman-friendly features makes this fixture easy to install, and its long reliable operating life significantly reduces lighting maintenance by increasing the intervals between servicing and relamping. An internal bubble level facilitates easy leveling at installation for faster and simpler installation. A diecast trigger latch on the door frame allows for tool-less entry and enables easy and secure opening with one hand. The mast arm mount provides easy, secure installation and is adjustable for arms from 1-1/4" to 2".
The powder coated finish on this LED street light undergoes a rigorous five-stage pre-treating to yield a finish that achieves a scribe creepage rating of 8 (per ASTM D1654) after over 1000 hours of exposure in a salt fog chamber. Unlike traditional street lamps that incorporate wildlife shields as a seperate piece, this fixture features a wildlife shield that is cast into the housing. The RWL-LED-40 carries a 3G vibration rating per ANSI C136.
