This 2 KVA transformer features a IEC 60309 CEE 16 Amp Pin and Sleeve cord cap on the primary side and a pair of 120V 5-20R GFCI protected duplex receptacles with weatherproof covers on the secondary side. The unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 240V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. The TX-220V-2KVA-120V-15ACB-2X120.20A-CE16A temporary portable stepdown transformer from Larson Electronics gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 220-240V AC line-in power via a 20` 16/3 SOOW cord terminated in a IEC 60309 CEE 16 Amp Pin and Sleeve cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to two 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles for their 120V AC equipment. The TX-220V-2KVA-120V-15ACB-2X120.20A-CE16A portable distribution system converts 240V AC single phase into 120V AC secondary voltage, which is brought in via 20` 16/3 SOOW cable that is fitted with an IEC 60309 CEE 16 Amp Pin and Sleeve cord cap. Primary voltage (220/240V AC) is distributed from the 2 KVA 240-120V single phase transformer and the transformer is protected by a 15-amp din-rail mount circuit breaker and a weatherproof cover. Secondary voltage (120V AC) is distributed from the 2 KVA 240-120V single phase transformer to two 20-amp 5-20R GFCI protected duplex receptacles with weatherproof covers. A top located cord management system allows operators to roll up the line-in cord when it is not in use and roll up the extra slack in the power cable during use. Each of the two receptacles provide sealed and secure connections for one connected device per receptacle and are equipped with weatherproof covers that protect the faces from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The housing on the TX-220V-2KVA-120V-15ACB-2X120.20A-CE16A is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transform does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. A top located adjustable carrying handle allows operators to carry this unit through the workspace. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
