The WAL-ML-BP1.5K-4XWP60E-25 from Larson Electronics is a Battery-powered LED Light Tower that is designed for use in construction sites, military bases, infrastructure projects, outdoor events and other remote locations without adequate access to grid power. This unit features four, 60-watt LED lamps in an "X" configuration for 360-degree illumination. The 1.5kWh capacity battery pack provides up to 16 hours of continuous operation per charge (runtime decreases when other equipment is plugged in). When ordering this rechargeable LED light tower, please choose between 120V AC or 240V AC battery output voltages.
This battery-powered LED light tower comes with four LEDWP-600E LED wall pack light heads in an "X" configuration for superior 360-degree illumination. Each 60-watt lamp produces a long flood beam of light with a color temperature rating of 5,600K for a combined total of 21,600 lumens. The light assembly consists of six LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce a wide light distribution overpowering that of a 500 watt quartz flood lights. This light is constructed of three angled boards that helps provide a wider spread. Instead of the light only shining forward, the center board is concentrated to go straight out while the boards on the side are 45° offset. The LED wall pack is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment.
A waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion helps reinforce the luminary`s sturdy features. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provides a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out this unit`s weather resistant construction.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Battery Pack:
Powering the WAL-ML-BP1.5K-4XWP60E-25 is a portable battery pack, which supports a rechargeable li-ion battery with 4.0kWh capacity. The unit comes with versatile AC and PV charging options. For seamless handling, dual handle grips may be deployed, which are located at the top of the battery pack. Standard output power for this unit is 2000W with peak output reaching 2250W. The battery pack supports 120V AC or 240V AC output voltages. This product can be charged using solar panels (PV) with a max input voltage of 150V DC and MPPT input voltage of 75~140 V DC. AC charge options include 88~264V AC input voltage with 600W max charge power. For additional power, operators may recharge the battery pack by plugging it into a solar panel array, utilize a secondary battery pack (sold separately) or plug the unit into a genset.
Cart:
The LED light tower is supported by the WAL-ML series pull around cart. This is an extendable tower assembly that can be adjusted from 9 to 13 feet in height for maximum coverage. A single hand crank allows operators to easily raise or lower the tower as needed, and a removable lamp mounting platform allows removal of the lamp assembly for easier transport and storage. The tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability, and a tough powder coat finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base of the tower is fitted with four solid wheels to allow easy positioning; the operator can simply roll it into the desired location as needed.
