Tower & Cart: The WAL-PML2-4X160LED-3G pneumatic light tower features an extendable tower assembly that can be adjusted from 8 to 20 feet in height for maximum coverage. Pneumatic operation eliminates the need for a hand crank, allowing operators to easily raise or lower the tower as needed. A removable lamp mounting platform allows removal of the lamp assembly for easier transport and storage. The tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability, and a tough powder coat finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base of the tower is fitted with two solid wheels to allow easy positioning with the wheeled handle. The handle assembly consists of a ball hitch that is inserted and locked into the receiver hitch on the cart platform. Operators tilt the handle back to lift the front legs of the tower, move the assembly into position, then raise the handle to lower the cart. The cart of the WAL-PML2-4X160LED-3G is equipped with a pickeye in each corner for a total of four. The four pickeyes allow the unit to be picked up and moved via crane.
Lights: This tower is fitted with four 160 watt LED light heads producing a combined total of approximately 58,892 lumens in a 40° flood pattern. The LED light heads offer IP69K rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40°C to 80°C, are waterproof to three meters, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The CREE XL-L2® LEDs help these units achieve 15.6Grms rated resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 50,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units contain advanced drivers which use pulse width modulation to control heat buildup rather than simple voltage regulators which are typically harsh on sensitive electronics and can contribute to early LED failure. These units automatically sense the temperature of each LED and adjust the energy frequency or "duty cycle" accordingly to maintain heat levels within acceptable ranges. This system in essence flashes current at an extremely fast on and off rate to each LED based upon the LED’s core temperature. This flash rate is too fast to detect with the human eye, but provides precise control of the current flowing to each LED and thus the heat it generates. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The LEDs are always driven at the same voltage but the duty cycle, however, is changed to alter how long the LEDs are actually on or off. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
Lamp Protection: These high output LED light bars feature soft start technology, allowing the LEDs to gradually increase to maximum intensity instead. Low in rush current at start-up reduces wear on associated components, increasing overall life of the internal electronics and improves downtime. Built in redundancy lessens chance of full fixture failure, while the reverse polarity operation protects the fixture from shorting the internal components. As well as unparalleled heat control, the LED10WSA series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP69K rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40°C to +80°C, are waterproof to three meters, can withstand high pressure and high temperature wash downs, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The CREE XM-L2® LEDs help these units achieve up to 60Grms rated resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 50,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications that require regular intensive cleaning and are exposed to a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, and abusive working conditions are encountered.

Generator: A single 4000 VA generator is mounted to the base of this tower to provide standalone power for the LED lights and allows for quiet operation and 12 or more hours of run time on a single tank of fuel. This generator also includes standard 120 and 240 volt outlets for accessory attachments, allowing operators to run tools and other equipment while also operating the lights. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such offers a variety of custom options including different lamp wattages and types.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
