The Larson Electronics WAL-RPS-WBC-2XSL10.5-LED Rechargeable LED String Light System produces 31,500 lumens spanning over 300` along the job site. This portable LED lighting system is designed for portability and reliability within the job site, and ideal for use in rough and demanding conditions.
The WAL-RPS-WBC-2XSL10.5-LED is a cart mounted temporary LED work area light with thirty high output LED lamps producing a combined 31,500 lumens. This temporary string light system is powered by a 140 amp-hour rechargeable battery bank mounted within a wheelbarrow-style cart. Each globe bird cage is equipped with a 10 watt high output LED bulb producing 1050 lumens and delivers more light output than a 100 watt incandescent. Each LED light screws into a molded E26 lamp socket and the bulb is enclosed in a bird cage style plastic guard. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical.
This portable LED work light is comprised of two sets of ten lamp and two sets of five lamp stringers. Each string light consists of industrial grade LED lamps with 10 feet of 12/3 SJTW cable between each unit. The string lights are powered via outlets on rechargeable cart. The portable battery bank wheelbarrow cart allows the operator to pick up the unit and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location for deployment. The internal battery bank allows this rechargeable flood light system to be used as a source of emergency lighting during power outages, or in remote locations without primary power sources readily available. The WAL-RPS-WBC-2XSL10.5-LED lighting system will run uninterrupted for 2.5 hours, nearly double the 90 minute minimum required by OSHA for emergency lighting.

One ten lamp and one five lamp string light set extend out from both sides of the wheelbarrow cart. The cart is plugged into standard 120 volt power sources to run the lamps LED string lamps and charge the internal batteries. When power outages occur, the cart switches over to the battery bank for emergency lighting. Additionally, the system can be used as a portable and rechargeable system for emergency and remote location illumination.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Each light has a yellow plastic mesh guard enclosure that provides protection for the enclosed bulb and a hook that allows operators to hang these tasks lights overhead. Utilizing energy efficient LED lamps, operators are able to provide more light coverage from the same amp draw, or lower the amp draw using the same amount LED lamps as incandescent. Each LED trouble light has an effective range that approximately covers a 5 to 8 foot radius with 10-15 foot candles of light.
This portable flood light is equipped with a battery bank consisting of (2) 12 volt 200ah batteries in series mounted to the frame of the cart. For emergency operation, operators plug the cart into standard 120V AC power sources, and the emergency operation will automatically switch over to battery power during power outages. For portable operation, operators charge the battery pack before usage with the including battery charger, deploy the LED cart for work site illumination, and recharge the unit after completion for use on the next job site. The LED light lamps retains 80% of its lumen output after 50,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps, and the solid state design of LEDs provides more durability and longevity than filament and gas burning lamps.
