The 14 watt LED lamps on this this work site light set provide more and higher quality light than 100 wattage incandescent lights while creating less heat and using less power. The high output LED lamps provide greater durability and extended lamp life compared to traditional lamps, reducing maintenance and repairs while increasing overall illumination reliability on the job site. The anti-theft design discourages the theft of these lights from the workplace or job site. The WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V 300` LED Stringer with Anti-Theft Design is an ideal lighting solution for temporary construction sites, general maintenance, construction, aircraft interior, emergency shelter, long or narrow pathways and ship yards. This LED String Light features 10 LED lamps that each measure 2` in length. Each lamp is equipped with a 14 watt T8 style LED bulb from Larson Electronics, which produces 1,750 lumens and requires no ballast to operate. Each lamp also features a lightly frosted lens that diffuses the light and makes this LED string light ideal for food safe environments as there is no glass. Constructed to be completely weather and impact resistant, the WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V sacrifices no light output or quality to obtain these features. The Larson Electronics WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V is shock resistant, making it durable enough to withstand drops, falls, and rough handling. Equipped with a 2` LED T8 Lamp and a 2` polycarbonate lens, this LED drop light is designed to operate at cooler operating temperatures than conventional incandescent and fluorescent lights to reduce the chance of fire and burns. The built-in reflector provides a wide, glare free, and shadow-less light field of bright white light. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Anti-Theft Design: The WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V features an anti-theft design. Unfortunately, jobsite theft of lights and other equipment is an all too common problem. The theft of A19 style lamps are a common target of theft. The cost of having lights stolen gets higher when LED A19 lights are the lights being stolen. The WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V has the lamps locked into the fixture to discourage theft. The electrical circuity of the internal LED lamps also differs from standard fluorescent lamps, meaning that if someone did steal the lamps, they would not work in a fixture without modification of the fixture at home. Combined with the fact that linear lights are not as common in home environments, the anti-theft design of the WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V goes a long way towards discouraging and preventing theft. Wiring: The WAL-SL-10-30X-FTL3-LED-E2E-120V features 30 feet of 16/3 SOOW cable between each of the ten LED lamps. For added convenience for storage and travel, there are 5-15P/5-15C cord caps between each lamp. This allows the lights to be disconnected in sections. This feature makes storage, travel and installation a simple task. Operators simply reconnect the cord caps to install this 300` LED stringer in the desired location. Voltage: The internal driver in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. This 300` LED Stringer can operate on current ranging from 100 to 277V AC for high voltage models or 11 to 25V AC/DC for low voltage models without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it. Cord Cap: This portable LED task lighting system is equipped with 25 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord on one end of the stringer that is fitted with an industrial grade 5-15P cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. The other end is equipped with 5` of 16/3 SOOW cord and is fitted with a 5-15C female cord cap.
