The Larson Electronics WAL-SL-10-PAR38-LED-12.3 Work Area String Light is designed for high output job site illumination. This unit features ten 25 Watt LED lamps producing 25,000 lumens of illumination with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. This work light comes with 10` of 12/3 SJTW cable between each lamp, allowing for temporary work light illumination spanning over one-hundred feet. This light fixture features a low amp draw and is wet area approved, making this string light applicable to a number of outdoor work conditions requiring temporary high output illumination.
The WAL-SL-10-PAR38-LED-12.3 work area string light consists of ten industrial grade 25 Watt LED lamps with ten foot of 12/3 SJTW cable between each unit. This temporary LED string light is connected to power via an integrated 3 foot cable terminated with an industrial grade plug and connector for daisy chain connection. Each lamp socket is equipped with a high output PAR 38 LED bulb which is a more energy efficient lamp than typical 150 Watt PAR38 lights. This work string light features a hook eyelet, making it versatile for a number of industrial applications requiring reliable and bright illumination.
The WAL-SL-10-PAR38-LED-12.3 work light fixture features ten 25 watt LED PAR38 lights, for 250 Watts total. This series of temporary work lights serve as a direct replacement for 150 watt PAR38 and 300 watt incandescent temporary work lights while overpowering traditional stringers. This temporary LED work light is a far more energy efficient bulb, and provides 25,000 lumens at 250 watts and an 80% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, compared to the 2,500 hour lamp life offered by standard 150 watt PAR38 halogen lamps. The LED PAR38 lamps have a lower energy consumption, produce more light output, are more durable to abuse and harsh environments, which translates into less maintenance required by operators and huge savings long term.
These LED work string light consist of 100` of 12/3 SJTW cable, with 10` between each lamp and terminated in 3` of whip on the front and back ends for a total of 106` of durable, weather proof string lighting. Utilizing energy efficient LED lamps, operators are able to provide more light coverage from the same amp draw, or lower the amp draw using the same amount LED lamps as halogen. Each LED trouble light has an effective range that approximately covers a 15` to 20` radius with a 60° flood beam.

Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Safety within the workplace is another benefit of LED work lights and temporary lighting. All light sources produce heat. With traditional work lamps, such as incandescent and halogen light sources, the lamp reaches high surface temperatures. These surface temperatures introduce a burn risk to anyone to anyone that allows prolonged skin contact with the light source, as well as a fire hazard if a flammable material is accidentally set too close to the light source for an extended period of time. While LED fixtures do still produce heat, they are designed with heat sinks to properly disperse the heat. Each LED bulb is engineered to disperse and expel this heat quickly and efficiently, keeping the lamp cooler than traditional light sources. This LED work light operates at a lower surface temperature than a comparable model with traditional light source, and thus does not present a significant burn risk if an operator or bystander accidentally brushed up against an exposed lamp, and reduce the fire hazard should they fixture accidentally come in contact with a flammable material for a short period of time. This significantly increases the safety within the work environment.
Wiring and Plug: This temporary string lighting system is constructed of 12/3 STJW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard NEMA 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug and NEMA 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 125V outlets, NEMA 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug and NEMA 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 220V-240V outlets, and a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
These lights are configured to operate with 120V-277VAC or 11-25V DC without any modifications. These LED string lights provide more and better quality illumination than 150 watt halogen string lights without the high heat and fragile glass construction of traditional lamps. These LED lamps are suitable for wet areas, extremely long lived, resistant to damage from impacts and vibrations, and consume far less energy than standard lamps.

A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
