The WAL-TL-2X12W-C-PA from Larson Electronics is a Dual LED Signal Light with Audible Horn that is approved for use in wet locations and marine environments. This waterproof LED equipped light is designed for routing traffic in industrial refueling stations and process status indication in manufacturing facilities.
The WAL-TL-2X12W-C-PA LED warning light is an ideal indicator lighting solution for industrial, marine, and manufacturing facilities. The light housing is fully sealed within a waterproof aluminum chassis fixture that features a very small profile for easy and unobtrusive mounting in tight and space limited areas. The mounting plate is also made from aluminum and can be custom built to customer Specifications. This colored LED indicator light provides red, white, blue, amber, green, and purple light output options, has a 50,000 hour operational life and is available in 120V or 240V AC. We also offer a 24V DC configuration for low voltage operation.
The LED light is fully sealed, weatherproof, and constructed of aluminum with stainless steel hardware for durability and corrosion resistance. The LEDs are housed within a hard anodized and powder coated aluminum chassis that provides excellent strength and durability. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp, making this unit ideal for fuel depots and manufacturing facilities where status indicators are necessary. This light can be operated on voltages ranging from 120 to 277 volts AC without the need for any extra hardware. The light will sense the voltage and adjust the current sent to the LED accordingly.
This signal light fixture is configured for a dual color light output. The WAL-TL series of lights offers exceptional lumen output, a 50,000+ hour life span, and is IP68 waterproof tested to 60 meters. The LED lamps in this warning light are each 12 watts and offer cool operation and clean, bright output that surpasses that of 100 watt incandescent indicator lamps. Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with four predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
The housing on this horn is constructed of heavy duty aluminum and the horn is formed fiberglass. The entire unit is finished in durable grey powder coat for resistance to corrosion, is weatherproof/dustproof, and NEMA 4X and marine rated for wet environments. Wiring is through a 1/2" conduit access hub, and the unit can be ordered in 120-240VAC configuration for use with standard voltages. Mounting is via an omni directional bracket which allows mounting to flat surfaces and vertical adjustment of the horn for secure placement and optimum sound direction.
