Made in the USA The WAL-TL-3XTL-C-SOL-100C Solar Powered LED Signal Stack Light from Larson Electronics is designed for routing traffic in industrial refueling stations and safety notifications. This two-watt unit emits red, amber and green colors, while operating on 24V AC/DC. The LED stack light is equipped with a waterproof solar panel, four 8aH batteries and 100` of 12/2 SOOW cable between the panel and the light fixture. The WAL-TL-3XTL-C-SOL-100C offers illuminative notifications in industrial facilities. Consisting of red, amber and green colors, this LED stack light is powered by solar panels and a battery bank. The assembly operates on 24V AC/DC and consumes a total of two watts. Featuring continuous operation, a prism-cut design ensures visibility throughout the facility. The unit is constructed of impact and heat resistant ABS resin, with a double-insulated body for rugged protection. This IP65-rated stack light is suitable for remote, outdoor locations. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Solar Panel: The solar panel is weatherproof and designed to catch the maximum amount of sunlight possible when properly mounted. This solar panel is configured to operate with a day/night with photocell, motion sensor for security purposes, on/off switch for manual operation or flying leads for operators to connect to user-provided external switches. The day/night and motion sensors are programmed to turn on the unit in the evening and shut it off during the day, activating the LED light when ambient lighting falls below 1 lux. The motion sensor will activate the panel upon detecting movement within range of the panel. Batteries/Mounting: The WAL-TL-3XTL-C-SOL-100C features four 8ah batteries for a 32aH battery bank with 16aH usable. The sealed lead acid battery pack is contained within the solar panel, not the connected equipment. The mounting apparatus is designed to allow a variety of mounting options including flat surfaces, walls and ceilings. The equipment is connected to the panel via 100` of 12/2 SOOW cord, which provides flexibility for positioning of the solar panel and equipment. The WAL-TL-3XTL-C-SOL-100C also features weatherproof disconnects at both the panel and fixture.
