The WAL-TLK-10-6X-FTL5-LED from Larson Electronics is a Tent Light Package for military applications, outdoor camp sites and industrial locations. This tent lighting system features ten solid-state LED lamps for a combined total of 35,000 lumens of output. Compatible with universal 120-277V AC 50/60 Hz, the assembly extends 136 feet and each LED lamp is equipped with male/female connectors, as well as 6` of input/output whips. This tent light package will illuminate a 52` x 15` tent.
The WAL-TLK-10-6X-FTL5-LED consists of ten, 28-watt T8 tube style LED bulbs for comprehensive and versatile illumination in tents and military camp sites. During use, the system offers 35,000 lumens of output @ 3,500 lumens per LED tent light. Equipped with 136` of SOOW cord (total length), this unit operates on universal 120-277V AC, 50/60 Hz.
Because the LED assembly is a self-contained lighting fixture in itself and requires no additional housing, this unit is ultra compact and low profile. Instead of using a fragile glass bulb as with traditional fluorescent lighting, the housing on this LED fixture is made of impact and shock resistant polycarbonate, making it a much safer and more durable option than fluorescent bulbs.
The WAL-TLK-10-6X-FTL5-LED is an ideal replacement for outdated traditional fluorescent fixtures. While fluorescents require additional space for a ballast, contain fragile glass bulbs, and are notorious for annoying flickering and slow start up times, LED fixtures require no ballast, take up less space, provide instant full power illumination, and project a stable, no-flicker beam from a durable solid state lighting source.
Multiple units can be linked end-to-end via daisy chain connections as shown in the images above.
The UL 1598A LED assembly is lightly frosted and contains a built-in diffuser to provide a wide, glare-free area of bright illumination. Providing illumination with a CRI of 80 and a color temperature of 5600K, the WAL-TLK-10-6X-FTL5-LED clearly and directly illuminates work areas while eliminating dark spots and shadows, making it ideal for work environments where bright uniform light and excellent color rendering are crucial to completing tasks safely.
The WAL-TLK-10-6X-FTL5-LED is built to withstand the challenges and rigors of wet environments and harsh conditions, including extreme temperature changes. With a tough, shatter resistant UL 1598A LED assembly sealed with polycarbonate end caps and equipped with corrosion resistant, swivel mounting brackets, this compact and rugged IP66 rated light can withstand high pressure jets in washdown areas such as those found in food preparation and sanitation operations.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Wiring and Plug:
This cart mounted LED flood lighting system is equipped with 100 foot of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, or NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Each LED light is equipped with a 6 feet of input and output whips, terminated with male/female connectors to allow end to end connections. For a standard two-row configuration with four LED tent lights on each row and one LED lamp at both ends (shown in the wiring diagram), the assembly will illuminate a 52` x 15` tent.
Mounting:
This tent light package comes standard with a set of drop hooks to allow users to conveniently hang the units overhead anywhere illumination is needed. These LED lights are ideal for temporary illumination where daisy chain setups are preferred.
