The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 from Larson Electronics is a LED Security Spotlight Tower that is ideal for security and corrections applications and contains a pair of 500-watt LED lamps mounted on a three-foot aluminum pole for a total power output of 1000 watts. During use, the LED light mast provides a total of 129,600 lumens (64,800 lumens per lamp) of output. Operating on 220-240 V AC at 50 Hz, this unit comes with 25' of 16/3 SOOW cord and a choice of 220 V cord cap options. The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 is also equipped with a battery backup system that allows the light to operate for two hours when traditional power sources are not available. This complete and ready to use system is weatherproof, sandproof, and water resistant.
The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 1000 Watt LED Tower Security Spotlight is designed as an effective security and corrections lighting solution and produces a powerful spot beam that can be moved to track moving objects on the ground. The light head is comprised of a pair of 500 watt LED lamp which each produce 64,800 lumens (129,600 lumens total), for an intense and powerful spotlight beam capable of illuminating objects up to 2,300 feet away. The light head is mounted on top of a 3 foot tall aluminum pole with a rectangular base predrilled with 4 holes for permanent mounting to flat surfaces. The aluminum mounting pole is equipped with a single set of handles to control horizontal and vertical orientation of the light heads.
Light Head Information: The WAL-TSL-2X500LTL-LED-RSP.2H-220V.50HZ-M1 spotlight tower uses a pair of the Larson Electronics LED Flood Light head which offers intense light output and is ideal for security and outdoor lighting applications. Producing 64,800 lumens, a 4 amp draw at 120 V, 80,000 hour service life, 220-240 volt, 50 Hz compatibility, and IP67 waterproof rating, this LED flood light provides operators with a rugged and powerful LED alternative to 1500 watt metal halide lamps that uses little power and can withstand rugged use and abusive conditions.
Each GAU-LTL-500W-LED LED light head produces 64,800 lumens of high intensity light (for a total of 129,600 lumens) while drawing only 500 watts at 4 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Forty-Eight Cree® high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a tightly focused 10° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area.

They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Cree² Specific: This lamp uses Cree® LED units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme longevity. These Cree® LEDs generate a robust 135 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 70% lumen retention at 80,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources.
Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours.
Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-500W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The Cree² LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
