The WALCD-48-160W-LED-100 160 Watt LED light fixture with upright dolly cart is a portable light fixture that provides 19,200 lumens of bright light in a 160Â° wide flood beam spread while providing operators with a high degree of portability and convenient transportation thanks to the two wheels and two additional casters. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this work area light to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. The WALCD-48-160W-LED-100 light head is housed in aluminum casing and the LED assembly is protected by a shatter resistant polycarbonate lens. This unit is universal voltage, operating on 110-277 AC 50/60 Hz, and supplied with a 100` 16/3 SOOW line-in cable with choice of general area cord cap.
Light Features: We have eliminated the ballast box normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight and creates a slimmer unit profile. There is no ballast in this unit and the integrated LED assembly has a 50,000+ hour service life, both of which result in extreme efficiency and greatly reduced maintenance costs. The solid state design of LED technology give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibration, extremes in temperature, and a lamp life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs.
The integrated heat sink allows for efficient heat dissipation, preventing the LEDs from overheating and keeping the overall temperature of the fixture relatively low. Solid state LED technology eliminates the need for a ballast box and lamps, a cumbersome feature of fluorescent fixtures that add weight and require frequent repairs. This low profile light fixture features two adjustable brackets, providing operators with easy installation and allowing for adjustments of the light assembly.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Mounting: The WALCD-48-160W-LED-100 features a highly portable and versatile dolly cart mount that offers operators flexibility in illuminating work areas, fleet servicing areas and construction sites. The dolly cart is built from durable aluminum and is powder coated for corrosion resistance and features a glossy blue finish for pleasing visual aesthetics. Two wheels and two polyurethane casters allow this cart to illuminate unusual areas where traditional fixed mount lighting is obstructed or cannot effectively reach.
Wiring/Plug: This general area use LED dolly cart mount light fixture is equipped with 100 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
