The Larson Electronics WALTP-2X24ET-1227 Tripod Mounted Dual LED Light consists of two, 72 watt LED light heads mounted atop an aluminum tripod and produces 8,640 lumens that can illuminate an area over 1050`L x 125`W. The heavy duty aluminum tripod mount provides the ability to easily and quickly deploy these lights and extend them to any height between 3.5 and 10 feet. An included inline transformer allows operation with common 120-277 VAC wall outlet current. This LED light tower has an inline switch for on/off control and can be operated with either 120-277 VAC or 12/24 VDC.

This dual LED light tripod contains two LED light heads that produce 4,320 lumens each while using 72 watts at 0.6 amps, for a combined a total of 8,640 lumens at 144 watts and 1.2 amps. Each LED light head contains twenty-four Edison Edixeon® Emitters producing 180 lumens each combined with high purity 10 degree optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam with limited spread or light spillage (1050`L X 125`W Spot Beam). We also offer optional floodlight versions with 35 degree optics to produce a wider beam spread and more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as work and area lights (350`L X 250`W Flood Beam).
These LED lights are waterproof and have IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand demanding environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand frigid temperatures, are waterproof to three meters, and resist the ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings on these units are formed from cast aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edison Edixeon® LED Emitters offer high resistance to shocks and vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours of use. Both LED fixtures are mounted to a single removable mounting bracket that can be easily detached from the tower for stowing or transport.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Durability: The WALTP-2X24ET-1227 Tripod Mounted Dual LED Light incorporates two IP68 rated LED light emitters on a collapsible aluminum tripod. These weatherproof LED lights have a durable powder coat finish, are IP68 rated waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt, and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications.
Tripod: The heavy duty aluminum tripod is durable, lightweight and adjustable to any length between 3.5 feet and 10 feet. A single mounting bracket holds the LED lights and allows each light to be adjusted and aimed independently of the other. This adjustability allows users to expand the area covered or to focus more intense coverage on a smaller area. The tripod legs can be collapsed and the light head bracket removed with the lights still on it for simple portability and deployment. The heavy duty construction of this tripod and the light weight of the aluminum LED fixtures results in a portable yet very stable lighting platform that will hold its position, even in very windy conditions. The tripod weighs 8 pounds and the 2 light heads and attachment bracket weigh 19 pounds. The adjustable tripod is constructed of heavy duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware and provides secure height adjustment, leg positioning, and light mounting that will hold position even in windy conditions.
Mounting: The LED light heads on this unit are mounted to a single removable bracket that allows the user to simply remove the entire light assembly from the tripod for easy stowing and transport. Each LED light can be adjusted independently of the other to provide maximum coverage or maximum intensity.
Power: These LED tower lights are equipped with an inline transformer that allows operation with standard 110-120 VAC household current. Alternatively, operators can disconnect the transformer and power these lights directly from 12 to 24 volt DC power sources as they can operate natively with DC current ranging from 9 to 32 VDC. You do not need to anything special to operate these light bars in their multi-voltage 9-32 Volt configuration. They will sense the incoming voltage and adapt accordingly. This tower is equipped with a waterproof single switch controller that allows operators to power the lights on or off without having to unplug the tower. We also offer a dual switch configuration which allows operators to operate each light independently of the other or in tandem.
Wiring and Plug: This Tripod Mounted Dual LED Light is equipped with 16 foot of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Versatility: The easy deployment and multi-voltage capability of this light tower makes it ideal for rapid deployment as a scene light for first responders to downed lines, main breaks or accidents. Other applications include temporary maintenance operations, tank cleaning, power washing and other maintenance applications where general area lighting is not available.
Unlike our larger metal halide towers, these LED lights can be positioned next to the users. While our larger WAL-C-2XM 2000 watt metal halide lights on telescoping tripods cover more area, they are typically paired with large portable electrical distribution panels, transformers or diesel generators. The noise, fumes and high wattage electrical cabling usually requires that the operator positions the portable light tower at some distance from the work area or event. While these LED light towers produce less light coverage than the large metal halide lights, they can be placed right next to the work area, event or operators, so the overall effective illumination will be greater.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.

Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
How to Return For all returns, you can email us at sales@purilite.ca. You will need the invoice number in the subject line of the email. You can use one of your preferred carriers. Please note that for freight collect shipments, you are responsible for order tracking once the freight is loaded onto the truck. In addition, PuriLite Industrial cannot assist you with filing damage claims with your carrier.
All returns must be authorized by PuriLite. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from PuriLite Customer Service Department, and the client must provide the Invoice number at the time of the request. The following conditions must be met. Failure to do so could result in refusal of a shipment by us.
At the time of the return, goods must be a stock item with PuriLite and the returned quantity must correspond to the quantity of the original packaging
Approval and shipping destination must be obtained from PuriLite before returning goods;
Goods must be returned to the appropriate location within 10 working days after receiving the return authorization number;
The return authorization number and invoice number must be identified on the return address label;
Goods must be in their original packaging, arrive undamaged and in resalable form
All returns are to be sent prepaid;
Specially ordered goods are non returnable – these products are identified with a part number beginning with a // on quotes and invoices.
Goods damaged in transit must be signed as damaged by the receiver and carrier at the time of receipt of goods in order to request credit from PuriLite.
PuriLite reserves the right to deny any Returns or Claims if the above conditions are not met.
Orders for products affected by x-factor events such as viral outbreaks and other extreme circumstances CANNOT be returned once shipped and billed.
