| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics WCDE-11-110G-LM30-4X1000MH-500GW self contained trailer mounted fold over 3-stage light mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy the four equipped 1,000 watt metal halide light fixtures to elevations up to 30 feet. The light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. This self contained light plant is equipped with a water cooled 11kW Kubota diesel generator and 500 gallon water storage tank to provide power to job site equipment. The entire assembly is mounted onto a four wheel tandem axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this fold over boom from location to location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* Lights: The WCDE-11-110G-LM30-4X1000MH-500GW is equipped with four 1,000 watt metal halide fixtures. Each light fixture produces a powerful flood beam pattern that covers large areas with intense illumination meant to simulate daylight conditions. The metal halide fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 440,000 lumens at 4,000 watts. These lamps have 19†reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 2 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Tower: The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 12’, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its 30’ fully extended upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360â€. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 11.27` in length and 4†x 4†by 1/8" thick, middle section 10.73` in length and 3†x 3†by 1/8†thick, and an upper section 10.63` and 2†x 2†by 1/8†thick. Each section has a 1` overlap minimum. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lbs hand winch with 3/16†galvanized steel cable and extended to its full height using a second 2,500 lbs hand winch. A 52†long mounting plate/mast head constructed of 2†x 2†by 1/4†thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. The tower is mounted to a tandem axle trailer via a 15†x 13†by 1/4†thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 5/8" anchor bolts. | ||||||||||||||||||

Trailer: This light mast is mounted to an 18` by 6.3`, tandem axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The four-wheel trailer is equipped with 3,5000 lbs leaf springs, 15" trailer tires, and electric brakes. The trailer can support and haul an additional 2,000 lbs of equipment. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing.
Four 1,000 lbs hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 12’, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. Total trailer dimensions when the tower is fully collapsed and folded measure 22.97’L x 8.07’W x 7.07’H.

Genset: The WCDE-11-110G-LM30-4X1000MH-500GW mobile light tower includes a Kubota genset that houses a Kubota V2203 diesel engine that powers the 11KW 120/240V brushless generator. This genset is liquid cooled and features a single phase generator with electric start ignition. The diesel generator runs at 3600 RPM and is equipped with an EPA/CARB Tier 4 emissions system. A 110 gallon fuel cell sits beside the genset and is equipped with an electric fuel delivery system. The fuel cell is constructed of single a heavy gauge steel single wall frame with internal anti-splash baffles. This genset features key operated electric starting, a 12V electrical system, liquid cooling, replaceable dry element air cleaner, and a full enclosure for safe operation and protection against the elements. This engine also features cold weather options to improve performance under cold weather conditions.
Shipping and Customization: The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier or flatbed. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-40-4S is another model that reaches to a length of 40`, with base section 11.25` in length, lower section 11.25` in length, an upper section 11.25` in length, and a top section 11.75` in length. Larson Electronics can custom build these towers to meet your overall and collapsed height requirements.
We also offer a choice of either the manual or electric winches, finishing, and equipped light heads. Winch options include 2,500 lbs hand winches (included standard) or optional electric winches for standard light towers, and heavy duty winches and hoists for high payload units. Powder coating color can be customized (the standard mast is gloss blue). Mast location on the trailer bed can be tongue mounted, front of the trailer bed, or center of the trailer bed. These towers can be fitted with Larson Electronics line of high output light heads, customizing the mast head to meet the mounting requirements for your equipment.
