Made in the USA The WCDE-20-50-5S-TLR14 from Larson Electronics is a Fold Over 5-Stage Megatower™ with a 20 kW Genset that provides a safe and effective way for operators to power and quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to fifty feet. This light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 16' single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this fold over boom from location to location. Operators are provided access to a 20KW diesel generator with a 110 gallon fuel tank. This unit contains a water cooled diesel engine powering the generator, which supplies the current for customer-provided equipment. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping five stage steel Megatower™ from Larson Electronics™ is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 50 feet for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 50 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 15 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 11' in length and 6" x 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 11` in length and 5" x 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 12' in length and 4" x 4" by 1/8" thick, an upper section 11' in length and 3" x 3" by 1/8" thick, and a top section 13' in length and 2" x 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 15-18" overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lb hand winch with 3/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 2,500 lb winch.

This series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via an 18" x 18", 3/8" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 1/2 inch anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 1/8" thick mounting T head is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for fixtures. This family of telescoping Megatower™ a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°, regardless of the extended height of the mast. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This light tower weighs approximately 1300 lb, can easily support and lift 150 lbs of fixtures and/or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 2000 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 2,500 lb hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Genset: The WCDE-20-50-5S-TLR14 mobile hydraulic Megatower™ includes a specialized genset that houses a Perkins diesel engine that powers the 20 kW diesel generator. This genset is liquid cooled and features a single phase generator with electric start ignition. The diesel generator runs at 3600 RPM and is equipped with an EPA/CARB Tier 4 emissions system. A 110 gallon fuel cell sits beside the genset and is equipped with an electric fuel delivery system. The fuel cell is constructed of single a heavy gauge steel single wall frame with internal anti-splash baffles. This genset features key operated electric starting, a twelve volt electrical system, liquid cooling, replaceable dry element air cleaner, and a full enclosure for safe operation and protection against the elements. This engine also features cold weather options to improve performance under cold weather conditions. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
