The Larson Electronics WCDE-9KW-4X750-LED-LAR-MOD1 LED Light Tower offers tough and durable construction, reliable and efficient performance, and high light output in an easy to operate, self-contained portable unit. This tower features four IP67 waterproof rated LED lights and PMMA high purity optics to deliver 388,800 lumens of wide-area illumination. A diesel generator mounted to a trailer with a weatherproof canopy provides power for 12 hours on a single tank of fuel, allowing operators to keep working in rugged and remote areas. The hydraulic mast is capable of reaching 9 meters (30') for elevated lighting and collapsing to 3 meters (10') for seamless storage or transportation. The WCDE-9KW-4X750-LED-LAR-MOD1 is a mobile light tower that offers elevated illumination and standalone operation in remote locations. This system comes with a hydraulic-powered mast, four 5000K rated LED lights, a diesel generator with a Kubota engine and a trailer with a weatherproof canopy. Light Mast: This five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy four LED outdoor lights in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 9 meters (30`) for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 9 meters (30`) for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 3 meters (10') for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The stationary mast is extended to its full height using hydraulics. The tower can rotate 180 degrees (also powered by hydraulics). A mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the equipped LED light fixtures. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four outriggers can be extended 1 meter (3.28') out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 3 meters (10'), the mast can withstand winds up to (201 kph) 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. Light Head Information: The WCDE-9KW-4X750-LED-LAR-MOD1 from Larson Electronics is equipped with four, LED lights. Each LED lamp produces 97,200 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 750 watts at 6.25 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Sixty CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,620 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a flood beam configuration. Flood lighting is designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. GAU-LTL-750W-LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running 1,500 watt metal halide lamps. They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical. The heavy duty design and high power of these LED lights also makes them suitable for a wide array of applications including but not limited to: high mast lighting, light towers, light plant LED retrofits, military, mining, industrial manufacturing, machine visioning, security and law enforcement, commercial structure illumination, sport complexes, billboards, race tracks, and parking lots to name a few. Light Head Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Light Head Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-750W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Generator: An 9kW prime (8kW continuous) generator with a 3 cylinder, 4 stroke Kubota engine provides standalone power for this light tower. Equipped with a 12V 36aH battery charged by the alternator on the engine, this generator has a 150-liter tank (39.62 gallons) and provides an estimated 12 hours of continuous operation. The alternator offers 380Y/220, 50 hz 3-phase: 380V (L-L) 3 phase and 220V (L-N) 1 phase. Auto start features include dusk to dawn and timer. Auto shutdown with an audible alarm is activated when sensing over voltage, over current, overload, low/high oil pressure and high oil temperature. This unit is capable of jump starting if the internal battery is dead. SMS notification is possible with a customer-provided SIM card. SMS notification includes: start, stop, fuel usage and GPS location. This generator is protected by fire retardant interior insulation. Operators may access two, 32-amp 4-pole, 5-wire 380Y/200 532R6W and one, 16-amp 2-pole, 3-wire 220V 316R6W receptacles. An include 100-meter (328.08') cord allows connection to off-grid power instead of the generator, including powering the lights. A manual transfer switch facilitates selection of preferred power sources. Trailer Assembly: The entire assembly is mounted to a single-axle trailer with a MB finish. The two-wheel trailer offers 290mm ground clearance and features a weatherproof canopy made out of anti-corrosive steel sheet with a fire retardant finish. This unit comes with locking doors for all access panels, 3-meter (9.84') jumper cables and a spare tire. Parking and self-actuating mechanical brakes are included (no air brakes).
