Product Description
Enjoy convenient access to your music, movies, software, and archived files with this portable external CD/DVD drive for compatible laptops and desktop computers. Featuring USB 3.0 Type-A and Type-C connectors, it offers flexible connectivity for supported devices without requiring a separate adapter. Designed for versatile optical disc use, this CD/DVD reader and burner supports reading, writing, rewriting, and ripping compatible discs. Play music CDs, access DVD content, install compatible software, back up files, or transfer supported media to your computer. With maximum writing speeds of 24x for CDs and 8x for DVDs, it provides practical performance for everyday tasks. The plug-and-play design allows compatible operating systems to recognize the drive without a separate drive-driver installation. Appropriate media playback, burning, or ripping software may still be needed, depending on your intended use. The drive supports compatible Windows, macOS, and Linux computers, making it suitable for home, school, and office use. For convenient storage and travel, the drive features an integrated data cable that can be stored underneath the unit, helping keep the connectors organized. An included USB power cable provides additional power when a computer's USB port cannot supply enough. The protective carrying case helps shield the drive from dust and scratches when not in use. Compatible with a variety of standard CD and DVD formats, this portable optical drive is a useful option for computers without a built-in disc drive. Blu-ray and 4K optical discs are not supported, and the device is not compatible with smartphones, tablets, or gaming consoles.
