The Larson Electronics EP-MTSTR-3P-480-125HP-180A-DCM Explosion Proof Soft Starter provides reduced voltage starting solutions for industrial equipment inside flammable facilities. This 125 HP unit offers compatibility with 480V (nominal, range of 430V-525V) three-phase delta, 50/60 Hz. Multiple start, stop and control modes are available during use, via a digital panel. Six momentary push buttons can be used to configure the unit and engage various functions.
The EP-MTSTR-3P-480-125HP-180A-DCM is an explosion proof reduced voltage starter for combustible work sites, which can be used to soft start and preserve industrial motors. This 125 HP unit is compatible with 480V (nominal, range of 430V-525V) three-phase delta, 50/60 Hz. The 180-amp soft starter is equipped with a squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor. Starting times should not exceed 20 attempts per hour. Six momentary push buttons on the device can be used to control the unit. A viewing window on the enclosure allows operators to see the LCD control panel during use.
The explosion proof reduced voltage starter is protected by an IP66-rated enclosure, which is constructed of cast aluminum with stainless steel hinge and bolts. Equipped with a NEMA 4X rating, the EP-MTSTR-3P-480-125HP-180A-DCM is designed for use at altitudes below 3,280.84 feet (1,000 meters). Above this range, the rate of power must be increased during operation.
