' Product Overview '
The EPL-SL-3-LED10W-CM-MOD1 Explosion Proof LED String Light from Larson Electronics is Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C & D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E & F listed. Consisting of three explosion proof LED lamps and 20' of 16/3 SOOW line-in cord with an explosion proof cord cap, the string light produces 3,150 total lumens. This IP67-rated waterproof LED string light is offered in several color options. The powerful and durable EPL-SL-3-LED10W-CM-MOD1 explosion proof LED string light from Larson Electronics is ideal for industrial applications, hazardous work spaces and areas where gases, vapors and dusts may be present and a powerful and durable general purpose light solution is needed. This 30-watt string light consists of three explosion proof LED lamps, with 93" of 16/3 SOOW cord between lamp 1 and 2, and 118.5" of 16/3 SOOW cord between lamp 2 and 3. When in use, the light operates on 120-277V AC and emits 3,150 total lumens. The LED lamps incorporate a full, 360° beam angle for complete illumination at work sites. The housing is waterproof, constructed of heavy cast aluminum and tested to withstand 1490 lbs. per square inch of hydrostatic pressure. Factory sealed and finished in a durable polyester powder coating, this lamp can be ordered with red, blue, green, amber, purple and white light colors. Please choose the lamp color when ordering.
 
 
This hazardous area LED light carries a T3C temperature rating and is UL Listed Class I, Groups C and D, Class II, Groups E and F, and Class III, Groups E, F and G. This strobe light is IP67 rated waterproof and suitable for use in paint spray booths and areas where flammable gases, vapors and chemicals may be encountered as well as approved for exposure to combustible dusts. The cast aluminum housing is fully factory sealed and includes an integrated inspection hole for easy access to the splice compartment. The LED lamp in this unit offers exceptional power efficiency over transitional incandescent lamps, offers a 50,000+ hour life, span and is energized by leads which pass through a sealing compound that separates the lamp chamber from the wiring compartment. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a heavy aluminum cage guard and an impact and heat resistant clear prismatic globe with heavy gauge aluminum reflector that affords excellent light control. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof light is equipped with 150 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW line-in cord that is fitted with an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets. Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets. **PLEASE NOTE** Voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur. Mounting: Compatible with ceiling mount applications, each explosion proof LED lamp mounts via a flat surface mounting bracket. Suggested Applications: The EPL-SL-3-LED10W-CM-MOD1 is approved for use within environments where flammable or combustible gases, vapors, dusts, fibers, and flying exist or stand the potential to exist, and is ideal for a wide variety of applications.
