The EPSW-3PH-480V-4P5W-30A from Larson Electronics is a 480V AC three-phase explosion proof switch with a 30 amp and 20 horsepower rating. This 4-pole explosion proof switch is rated Class I Divisions 1 & 2 Groups B, C and D, Class II Divisions 1 & 2 Groups E, F and G, and Class III. This unit is available with multiple hub options including 1" and 3/4" NPT hub sizes. The EPSW-3PH-480V-4P5W-30A can be used in hazardous work locations both indoors and outdoors and can also be used in areas where frequent washdowns, heavy rain or water spray occur.
The EPSW-3PH-480V-4P5W-30A explosion proof switch features a copper-free aluminum enclosure to protect the internal components from water damage and to make the unit explosion proof and safe to use in hazardous areas. This 4-pole 480V 3PH switch features a Wye configuration, stainless steel cover bolts and a silicone gasket to seal out moisture. The exterior is finished with electrostatically applied grey powder polyester paint for long-lasting durability.
Applications: Suitable for use as motor disconnects or industrial control panel disconnects on service entrance equipment, panelboards, switchboards, industrial control equipment and motor control centers.
