The ETX-10C-230V.1P-950VA-220V.1P-10C by Larson Electronics is an explosion proof stepdown transformer for use in hazardous locations. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, the ETX-10C-230V.1P-950VA-220V.1P-10C provides increased reliablity, protection against critical equipment failures and an extra level of protection by isolating the power source from the connected device. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Transformer Features: With a transformer rating of 950 Watt, the ETX-10C-230V.1P-950VA-220V.1P-10C is a single phase unit with a primary voltage of 230V and a seconday voltage of 220V. The buck-boost transformer contains a two-winding primary and secondary configuration and reverse connectables, as well as electrostatically shielded components and two 10` 16/3 SOOW cables (input and output) with explosion proof cord caps. Featuring robust construction, this unit is made out of cast aluminum. The following input/output hubs can be found on this unit: 3/4" NPT (input) and 3/4" NPT (output). On the primary (input) side, operators connect the unit to a 230V single phase power source using a 10` 16/3 SOOW cable with an explosion proof 6-20P plug and passes 230V single phase power to the buck-boost transformer. The 950 watt explosion proof transformer converts 230V single phase power to 220V single phase and passes the current to the secondary side. On the secondary (output) side, operators connect 220V single phase equipment to a 10` 16/3 SOOW cable with an explosion proof 6-20C connector. The explosion proof transformer comes with a NEMA 4X rating, which offers watertight protection and corrosion resistance. The ETX-10C-230V.1P-950VA-220V.1P-10C may be mounted on compatible surfaces in Class I and Class II environments. This transformer provides owners with significant energy savings as well as offering environmental benefits.
