The Larson Electronics GAU-AP-24-IPS-LED-USL Industrial LED Shelf Light is a low-profile, durable lighting solution for warehouses, distribution sites and storage areas. This powerful 24" long LED strip light produces 2,600 lumens and operates on 12-24V AC/DC.  The entire assembly weighs 2.1 lbs and measures 24 inches in length, 2.68 inches wide and 1.69 inches deep, making it ideal for mounting around shelves, pallet racks and busy storage sites.
The GAU-AP-24-IPS-LED-USL is designed for industrial shelving in delivery centers, distribution sites, large storage rooms and back rooms. These fixtures are configured in a 24" long strip or "bar" profile for installation in locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is preferred. The solid-state light can also be used to illuminate high volume warehouse storage and pallet racks. We offer this light in a 30° spot or 100° flood beam configuration to cater to different types of shelves, rack configurations and lighting preferences. Equipped with a heavy-duty aluminum housing, the LED light is recommended for high vertical stacking, as well as multiple level shelving. The IP65 rated fixture can make loading operations around industrial shelves safer by providing reliable illumination around rows, tight spaces and forklifts.
The LEDs in this linear light are Cree LEDs that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 75 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs. This LED light produces 2,600 lumens with a color temperature of 5000K, 4000K or 3000K and a color rendering index of 75 which produces colors and details much more accurately than incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent light fixtures.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Durability:
The industrial shelf light is constructed of extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish for high strength and durability. The housing is IP65 rated, providing ingress protection against dust and protection against low pressure jets of water from all directions. This design is weatherproof, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wet, damp, or dusty conditions are commonly encountered.
Power/Wiring:
This light operates on 12-24V AC/DC electrical current. The voltage range is intrinsically safe, which reduces fire-related risks and improves safety around industrial shelves. Each strip light is equipped with 6 feet of 16/3 SOOW cable for making power connections.
Mounting:
Mounting for this unit is provided by two standard adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically for best placement.
Once installed, operators can rotate the light fixture side to side to position the light output as needed. This versatile mounting feature makes the LED light ideal for adjustable shelves and supporting a variety of lighting configurations around storage sites.
