| The Larson Electronics HAL-DD-116W-LED hazardous area location LED light fixture provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries. LED technology and compact design makes this lamp an excellent replacement upgrade option for areas where mounting space is at a premium. This Class 2 Division 1 & 2 hazardous area location LED light fixture provides light output equivalent to a 175 watt incandescent lamp while drawing less then one amp at 120 volts. The copper free aluminum alloy body is epoxy coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. This unit is specially designed for high durability and to efficiently dissipate heat for prolonged LED life and features dual drivers for efficient operation. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures and requires less hardware to install.  | ||||||

This hazardous area location LED light features dual LED drivers which helps to increase the operational life of the fixture. The main LED driver powers the LEDs under normal operating conditions. An electronic transfer switch senses the current on the main driver, and upon failure will switch to the auxiliary driver if required. A built in time delay eliminates nuisance switches due to noise and power fluctuations. The auxiliary driver is not energized until after failure of the main driver.
This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 120-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast or wiring. This fixture can also be optionally configured to operate on 347-480 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The non sparking aluminum body and LED lamp design give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat, which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. This explosion proof LED fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum and all hardware is stainless steel for corrosion resistance and high durability.
The ballast housing contains an easily accessed buss fuse with a hinged housing cover and captive screw for safe and simple servicing. The LED assembly is protected by an impact resistant polycarbonate lens cover and the fixture housing is finished in an electrostatically applied epoxy paint coating for uniform protection. The HAL-DD-116W-LED is available in several optional mounting configurations including ceiling mounting, pendant mounting, wall mounting, stanchion mounting.
This hazardous area location fixture is suitable for use in wet areas and marine outdoor applications. Suggested applications include manufacturing and industrial operations, docks and marine environments, offshore oil rigs, chemical plants and anywhere a highly durable and efficient light source is needed that can withstand exposure to high stress environments.
