The Larson Electronics HALS-EMG-48-6L-T5HO Hazardous Area Fluorescent Light Fixture is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D - NRTL Certified to 1598 listed and ideal for use in industrial hazardous location lighting where wet conditions and chemical/petrochemical vapors may be encountered.

The HALS-EMG-48-6L-T5HO fixture is a 4 foot long, 6 lamp, Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous area fluorescent light with integrated emergency ballast that enables the light to deliver 900 lumens for 90 minutes when AC power is lost. This fixture is T4A temperature rated and comes standard with 6 F54/850-T5HO bulbs. The housing on this unit is constructed of powder coated 18 gauge steel for durability and contains a hinged reflector and ballast tray for easy and safe servicing. The lamps are held in place by spring loaded sockets and protected by a hinged glass door with a 3/16†tempered glass lens which is secured with four turn latches.
This fixture is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with voltages ranging from 120 Volts to 277 Volts 50/60Hz. This fixture is IP65 rated water and dustproof and approved for wet and marine locations. This fixture also features multiple 1/2 NPT wiring hubs with two located on top of the fixture and two more located at each end, allowing operators to through-wire multiple units in series or mount the unit with wire through conduit pendant mounts.
The HALS-48-6L-T5HO provides operators in hazardous locations with a very durable, reliable and affordable lighting solution for open areas where flammable chemicals and vapors may occasionally be present.
Standard Surface Mount Brackets: Each surface mounting bracket is attached on each end of the light and allows the operator to adjust the angle of the entire fixture. Pendant mounts are available for operators who wish to mount these fixtures away from the ceiling surface.
