| The Larson Electronics HALSS-URN-250WHPS-RS Hazardous Location High Pressure Sodium Light is capable of illuminating hazardous locations and industrial sites. This 250-watt fixture offers 29,000 lumens of white light during use. The light is protected by a stainless steel housing. The HALSS-URN-250WHPS-RS is approved for use in wet marine locations and is ideal for industrial applications, confined spaces, hazardous locations and areas where a powerful and durable floodlighting solution is needed. This 250-watt light produces 29,000 lumens of output. During use, the unit provides a wide flood pattern for comprehensive illumination. The instant restrike ballast is protected within the weatherproof housing and has primary electrical taps for 120V, 208V, 240V, and 277V. The optical assembly includes heat/impact-resistant tempered door glass with a stainless steel door frame and heavy duty, high temperature silicone rubber seal. The lamp socket is a specification grade mogul base porcelain unit with heavy gauge brass, a nickel-plated screw shell and spring-loaded center contact. Bulb is not included with with this fixture. This lamp is suitable for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapors are sometimes present. Wiring: Wiring is through a convenient 3/4" NPT conduit entrance. Wiring methods must comply with NFPA 70 (The National Electrical Code). Mounting: Mounting is via an adjustable stainless steel trunnion bracket that allows the fixture to be attached to walls or ceilings and provides secure adjustment and positioning. All hardware on this unit is corrosion resistant stainless steel making it resistant to rain, snow, salt water and corrosive chemicals. Suggested applications: Shipyards, boat yards, plants, tanks, vessels, fuel cells, barges and oil field applications. |
