This 5-watt light provides a highly effective alternative to beacons that require wiring and special permanent mounting. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the unit is available with an AC charger or a DC charger. The LEDWL-6R-PM.M comes with a pole top mounting bracket for easy attachment to poles, pipes, fenceposts, etc. The LEDWL-6R-PM.M offers powerful indicating in outdoor and industrial locations. This 5-watt unit has a colored lens and is powered by a rechargeable 2,000 mAh lithium-ion battery. During use, the light is visible at distances up to 500 feet at night. Color options include: red, blue, green, amber, white, purple, or red/blue. With no need for wiring or external power sources, this light is ideal for applications where an indicator light is needed on an occasional or temporary basis such as farm equipment, warehouse equipment, cars, or trucks. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Charger: The LEDWL-6R-PM.M comes with an AC charger that operates on 120 V AC and features a 5-10P cord cap or a DC charger with a cigarette plug for low voltage connections. Mounting:The LEDWL-6R-PM.M is equipped with a pole top mounting adapter. The adapter features a T-handle to tighten it down to the pole. The slip fit yoke is built to customer specs, enabling operators to mount this LED indicator light to their specific pole size. For example, selecting a 2" OD mount means that the yoke mount will fit onto pipes or poles with a 2" OD. The LED indicator light itself has a magnetic base for seamless and quick mounting to the pole top mount without tools. This allows for fast and easy removal of the light for turning on/off, charging, or storage when it is not in use.
