| Made in the USA The LM-16-EPL-2X150RT LED Light Tower from Larson Electronics is an 16 foot extendable light tower equipped with two high output Class 1 Division 1 & 2 and Class 2 Division 1 & 2 Cree LED light fixtures producing approximately 17,500 lumens each. This tower will illuminate approximately 1.25 acres and includes a rotating base which allows the operators to aim the lights in any direction regardless of tower location. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* Larson Electronics’ LM-16-EPL-2X150RT telescoping steel light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 16 feet for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 16 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 10 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 10 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 8 feet in length and 3.5 inches in diameter with 2 foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. This is a heavy duty unit designed for use in demanding conditions and for overall longevity in difficult construction environments with heavy duty steel construction for maximum durability. We make this lighting solution in the United States. Larson Electronics tower lights are designed for industrial, commercial, emergency response, and military applications where the operators are working in harsh, destructive environments and the operators income or mission success are dependent on dependable, durable lighting. Included with this light tower are two of our Explosion Proof 150 watt LED fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 35,000 lumens at only 300 watts. Each fixture produces 17,500 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 150 watts @1.25 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. These Explosion Proof LED light fixtures are Class 1, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D and Class 2, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G rated for use within the most demanding hazardous locations. The lights are wired to an explosion proof junction box at the mast head of the tower, and 50 foot of SOOW cable terminated in an explosion proof 5-15 plug is included. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 3/4 inch anchor bolts. A 36 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 10 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs approximately 700 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-30-3S is another model that reaches to a length of 30 feet. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches. Suggested Applications: Construction sites, event lighting, emergency services, highway projects, industrial plants, mining and excavation and anywhere a mobile light source with large area coverage capability is needed.  |
