The LM-HA-SMWB-60-15-7S-KT-6X500LTL-SYNC LED Light Tower from Larson Electronics offers intense illumination for outdoor locations. This 7-stage unit can be extended to 60 feet and retracted to 15 feet for seamless storage. Six, 500-watt LED lamps are secured at the top of the tower, which provides 405,000 lumens of output. Equipped with auto retract, a complete hydraulic kit and sync`d controls, the entire system can be secured on concrete pads for permanent installations.
The LM-HA-SMWB-60-15-7S-KT-6X500LTL-SYNC from Larson Electronics is designed for large-scale illumination in outdoor sites. Equipped with six LED light heads, the lighting system produces 405,000 lumens of high intensity light while drawing 3,000 watts. The mast can be extended to 60 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 15 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing and is elevated using a hydraulic system.
Fourty-Eight CREE high output LEDs producing 1,406 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights.
The LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running 1000 watt metal halide lamps. Heat Management:

The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. Telescoping Boom/Controls:
The hydraulic telescoping boom is constructed of heat treated aluminum with a powder coated finish and extends to 60` in height and retracts to 15`. This boom is raised from and lowered to the folded position by a single hydraulic ram and extended or retracted by a second hydraulic system.
Sync`d controls allow multiple LED light towers to be connected together. In such configuration, operation for the linked units are facilitated by a single control station.
Auto Retract:
To prevent damage and shaking from strong winds during operation, this light tower is equipped with a robust wind monitoring system. When exposed to strong winds, such as 40 mph, the system automatically retracts the mast for safe operation. In a retracted state, operators must re-adjust the height of the mast back to its original height (or another preferred height). This cutting-edge feature is designed to improve safety at industrial work sites.
This light plant can withstand 35 mph winds before auto retract when fully extended, with standard guy wires to the outriggers. When guy wires are applied 60 feet out from the side of the trailer, the light tower can withstand 50 mph winds before auto retract. When auto retract is activated, operators must send the mast back to its original position or preferred height setting.
Hydraulic Kit:
Equipped with a complete hydraulic kit, this light mast is elevated using a hydraulic ram and chain system. The base stage is raised via a hydraulic ram. The other stages are then raised via a chain system that is triggered by the action of the hydraulic ram. No manual winch is required at any point of the elevation process which makes operation convenient and seamless. Separate hydraulic controls are needed for syncing with other masts.
Skid Mount:
The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This light mast is mounted to a skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. Operators may also choose to permanently mount the mast on concrete pads. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allows this mast to be deployed without permanently mounting the mast, and includes four corner 1/2" OD anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment. 4-corner pick eyes allow this unit to be transported via crane lift or air transport in remote locations.
This light tower weighs approximately 650 lbs, can easily support and lift 250 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.67 feet long, 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall and weighs approximately 650 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
