This adjustable and collapsible light mast can be extended to nine feet for maximum coverage and collapsed to five feet for transport or more intense illumination. The unit is extended and lowered using an included hand crank cable winch equipped with a brake for fast and safe deployment. The four bolt mounting plate includes a rotating assembly. This rotating base allows operators to rotate the mast while elevated, and locked into position once desired angle is chosen. This is a heavy duty unit designed for use in demanding conditions and for overall longevity in difficult construction environments with heavy duty steel construction for maximum durability. We make this lighting solution in the United States. Larson Electronics tower lights are designed for industrial, commercial, emergency response, and military applications where the operators are working in harsh, destructive environments and the operators income or mission success are dependent on dependable, durable lighting. Included with this light tower are four of our wet area suitable LED fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 48,00 lumens at only 600 watts. | These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, 1/2 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. This base-plate mount also includes a rotating axis which allows the entire tower to be rotated in both the folded down position and upright position. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
