| The NVR-NDAA-POE-8CH-2TB-R2 from Larson Electronics is a Network Video Recorder that can be used to support remote surveillance operations and video recording activities. The unit comes with 8 channels and 2TB of storage. Operators may power recording devices directly from the NVR using a network cable for seamless application. This NDAA compliant device features multiple recording modes, remote-viewing capabilities and several output formats. The NVR-NDAA-POE-8CH-2TB-R2 is an 8-channel NVR that can be used with compatible NDAA compliant IP network cameras (up to 4K/8MP resolutions). Installation only takes minutes via plug-and-play, which automatically detects, displays and configures system components. With multiple recording modes and 2TB of storage, users could capture hours of footage with ease. The remote configurable network recorder features a bit rate of 160Mbps incoming and 64Mbps outgoing at up to 60fps. To maximize storage, the unit supports H.265 and H.264 video compression. This NVR complies with the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The regulation bans federal governments, their contractors and businesses with national security interests from buying and using surveillance equipment made by specific major China-based manufacturers, including Hikvision, Dahua and their OEMs. Security products sold by Honeywell, Bosch, Panasonic, ADT, Flir and many more are affected by the ban. NDAA compliance also includes a ban on ZTE, Huawei and Hytera telecommunication equipment. The network recorder is compatible with two-way audio streaming (camera dependent) and supports up to eight 4K cameras. During recording, the unit offers motion detection, line crossing, face detection, intrusion detection, people counting and vandalism detection. Cameras hooked up to the NVR-NDAA-POE-8CH-2TB may use power directly via PoE during operation. The NVR runs on 100-240V AC of power and is suitable for use in environments with temperatures between 14°F - 131°F. This unit is compatible with rack or surface mounting installations.
