The Larson Electronics WDL-BHL-12-70W-LED-PSC.H-WCM Bulkhead LED Light is designed for wall mounted and outdoor illumination. This 22-watt LED light operates on 120-277V AC @ 50/60 Hz, features a dimmable electronic driver and IP66 waterproof protection. Constructed of die cast aluminum and polycarbonate, the lamp features a glare shield. The WDL-BHL-12-70W-LED-PSC.H-WCM is suitable for bulkhead lighting applications on industrial buildings and industrial locations. Capable of serving as a direct replacement for 70-watt metal halide or pressure sodium lights, this 22-watt LED light is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use and offers 3,126 lumens of output with a color temperature rating of 4,000K or 5,000K. The LED fixture operates on voltages ranging from 120-277V AC at 50/60Hz and features an electronic dimmable driver for 0-10V dimming, as well as 2kV internal surge protection. A glare shield reduces the creation of glare and improves light distribution over the target area. The light is constructed of heavy-duty, corrosion resistant, die cast aluminum with a powder coat finish over a chromate conversion coating for a more durable option than metal halide units. Instead of using fragile glass bulbs, as with traditional fixtures, this light is equipped with tough, shatter resistant LEDs sealed in an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. Just 4†in depth, this self-contained bulkhead light is low profile, and provides instant full power illumination, projecting stable, no-flicker beam from a durable solid-state lighting source. This rugged outdoor lamp is IP66 rated and is designed to operate in extreme temperatures between -25°C to +40°C. LED Drivers: Even in LED fixtures, heat is the single largest factor in premature light failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs in order to reduce the amount of heat produced. Rather than lower light output or quality, Larson Electronics addresses this problem with the addition of an electronic LED driver. This internal driver provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. This not only reduces the energy dissipation, effectively lowering the operating temperature of the fixture, but also prevents AC over-voltage and short circuit loading making this fixture virtually maintenance free. Because the electronic driver allows the WDL-BHL-12-70W-LED-PSC.H-WCM to run at a cooler internal temperature and regulates the electrical current, energy efficiency and LED service hours are maximized while at the same time reducing operating costs and downtime incurred from the frequent servicing intervals required with other hotter running lights. Wiring: This LED lamp contains 1/2" NPT hubs for completing electrical connections. The unit accepts 6 #12 AWG wiring.
