It fits up to 8 cups of cooked rice.* The rice cooker is easy to use. It cooks with the touch of a button and has preprogrammed options for white rice, whole grains and hot cereal. Just place the ingredients in the nonstick pot, turn it on, and it automatically switches to warm when the cooking cycle is done. Steam foods while rice or grains cook for fast, easy one-pot meals. The automatic timer counts down as food cooks. When using the steam button to steam foods by themselves, you can set the timer for up to 30 minutes. The versatile steam basket on the cooker doubles as a colander for rinsing rice or vegetables. The 2-in-1 basket and the PFAS-free nonstick coated cooking pot are both dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. * This appliance holds 8 cups of cooked rice or 4 cups of uncooked rice. One rice measuring cup equals 6 oz. (177 g) or approximately 3/4 cup U.S. dry measure. This is based on the traditional Japanese gō measurement.
