| The BLWP-40LED LED Blasting Light offers high light output from a compact form factor and is designed to provide a more durable and long lived alternative to halogen units. This LED light includes a 200lb grip magnetic base which allows the unit to be mounted to metallic surfaces such as walls or work tables. This 40 watt LED light produces illumination comparable to a 400 watt metal halide unit without the high heat, fragile construction, or higher energy costs of incandescent lighting. This unit can be powered directly from a 110 volt AC source and includes a 12` SOOW cord terminated in a 5-15 straight blade plug. The BLWP-40LED LED blasting light from Larson Electronics produces a long flood beam of light while drawing only 40 watts @.45 amps at 110 VAC. The light assembly consists of twelve 3.3 watt LEDs paired with high purity specular optics to produce light output comparable to that of a 400 watt metal halide. This LED blasting light is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is IP68 rated, waterproof, vapor proof, and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment. | |||

| The BLWP-40LED consists of twelve, 3.3 watt LEDs housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosion. The housing incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. The LED lamp assembly is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens which is secured to the housing with a waterproof seal. A 1/2" waterproof connector provides a secure and sealed power connection point and rounds out this unit`s weather resistant construction. The BLWP-40LED blasting light from Larson Electronics produces a light beam that is longer and narrower than a standard Rab Floodzilla 250W Metal Halide (see comparison chart below). The beam will illuminate an area nearly twice the distance as a standard 250W metal halide flood light, but is 30% narrower than the metal halide flood. Mounting hardware for the BLWP-40LED consists of a stainless steel black coated bracket that allows vertical adjustability and a 200lbs grip magnetic base. The magnetic base will hold this LED light securely in place even if mounted on walls or overhead, and is strong enough to withstand the vibrations of running equipment. This unit is designed to operate with voltages ranging from 110 VAC to 277 VAC, providing versatile power connection options and the ability to run the unit with commonly encountered 110-277 VAC voltages. The BLWP-40LED provides an efficient and highly durable alternative to standard metal halide and halogen blasting lights that produces a longer reaching beam while using only a fraction the power. This LED blasting light comes with a three pack of mylar film lense protectors rated to 500 degrees F with adhesive backing. Thmylar covers protect the LED blasting light against small stones, sand, and other abrasive scratching elements. The user simply peels and sticks them to the lens, providing easy protection and reduced lens scratching and scuffing. With the BLWP-40LED there is no warm up period, the light can be cycled on and off without any reduction in lamp life, there is no glass or filament to shatter or break, and the solid state LED design provides 50,000 hours of operation.
