Made in Texas The Larson Electronics DCP-16-2XBS1363-24V Waterproof Power Supply with cigerette plug outlet converts commonly used 100 - 277V AC electrical current to 24V DC for low voltage lights and equipment. This converter can operate with voltages within the 100-277V AC range and converts it to 24V DC, allowing users to use standard AC power to operate equipment like our LED and HID lights that require low voltage DC current. The DCP-16-2XBS1363-24V 250 watt power converter with inline switch provides a safe and effective way for users to tap into and utilize common 100 to 277 Volt AC power sources and convert this current to 24 Volts DC for use with equipment that requires 24 volt DC electrical power. This unit can be operated with input current ranging from 100 to 277 VAC and will output 24 Volt DC current at up to 8 amps split between two 24V BS1363 receptacles. This power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof design, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage.

This DC power supply enables the Larson Electronics Spotlight to work from normal wall outlet and/or direct wire to a 110 AC circuit. This AC / DC converter can support up to 8 amps at 24V split between (2) 24V BS1363 receptacles. This power conversion units is suitable for all Golights and Larson Electronicss found on this site. This also includes all the new HL-85-HID spotlights and all other High Intensity Discharge Spotlights and Flood lights on this site. The small size and wide input voltage range of this unit make it ideal for operating Larson Electronics LED light bars, Golights and other equipment that requires 24VDC current indoors and anywhere 24 volt DC power is not readily available.

Wiring and Plug: This converter comes with a mounted cigarette plug outlet inside of a weatherproof outlet box. A two pin Deutsch connector is located on the output lead, allowing users to simply plug the unit into a typical wall outlet, then connect any of our 24 volt lights equipped with Deutsch connectors directly. This allows a more secure connection that wont come unplugged. The input side is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. Most of our 24 volt LED lights and LEDLB, LEDLB-E, LEDP series lights as well as many of our HID units utilize Deutsch connectors, making this unit "plug-n-play" compatible. If you purchase this transformer with any of our Larson Electronics lights, we will make sure that the connectors are a match.  The outlet and converter assembly is mounted to a heavy gauge metal strip with a machined oval opening on one end for easy hanging of the assembly from hooks or other convenient mounting locations. Users can also permanently mount the strip if desired. This unit is durable enough to be used as an inline converter connected between extension cords and devices, allowing users to simply connect the converter and pull the cord behind them just as they would when using any ordinary power cord. This unit comes with a back plate with a handle for convenient carrying. This power converter has a -30 / +70C operating temperature range and is UL UL1012 and UL60950-1 compliant as well as compliant with worldwide safety regulations for lighting. This unit has a 92% conversion efficiency and is suitable for use with moving LED signs and similar LED equipment. NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit’s output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 12 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. For example, if you are using our LEDP10W-60E 60 watt LED light, 60 watts divided by 12 volts is 5 amps. This would mean the DCP-16-2XBS1363-24V is well suited as it would run at less than 50% capacity to produce the necessary 5 amps. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life.
